Mass
Our services in the calibration laboratory for mass and solid body density
Based on our long-time experiences we offer accredited calibration services for the measuring quantity mass and solid body density according to ISO/IEC 17025 with DAkkS calibration certificate.
Our range of services includes the calibration of:
Weights and mass pieces of the class E1 according to OIML R-111
Realisation and dissemination of the SI-Unit mass by using mass scale
in the range of 1 mg to 50 kg of the class E1
e.g. single weights, set of weights
Through the use of high-quality, modern balances / comparators and semi-automatic comparators, as well as a climate system specially developed for the calibration process, we meet the high conditions for the calibration of weights of the class E1.
Weights and mass pieces of the class E2 – M3 according to OIML R-111
in the range of 1 mg bis 50 kg of the classes E2 F1 F2 M1 M2 M3
e.g. single weights, set of weights, disc weights
Weights according to OIML R-111
in the range of 100 kg bis 1000 kg of the classes M1 M2 M3
Determination of the conventional mass and the mass for free nominal values
e.g. disc weights, dead weights for pressure balances up to 50 kg
Consideration and evaluation of magnetic properties of the classes E1 to F2
e.g. Susceptibility and Polarity of stainless steel weights
Determination of mass for Newton weights
e.g. disc weights up to 50 kg
Determination of solid body density and solid body volume
Application of the hydrostatic weighing principle (primary method)
in the range of 1 g to 20 kg
e.g. weights of the class E1, glass spheres, sinker
It is necessary to determine the density and the volume of the weights to meet the high accuracy requirements.
Our complete range of calibration services, including expanded measuring uncertainties, can be found in the Annex to accreditation certificate (D-K-15186-01-02).
