Our services as provider of proficiency tests

Due to its long-term experience in the field of metrology, ZMK & ANALYTIK GmbH was also able to realize an accreditation for proficiency tests (comparison measurements, ILCs) according to ISO / IEC 17043.

We offer proficiency tests (comparison measurements) for a variety of measuring quantities for which we are also accredited as a calibration laboratory (ISO / IEC 17025). This ensures our technical competence.

ZMK & ANALYTIK GmbH takes on the tasks of the pilot laboratory, these are:

• Planning and organization
• Selection and provision of the profiency test object
• Preparation and agreement of the working description with the participants
• Implementation and control measurements
• Evaluation and reporting using statistical methods.

Why proficiency tests are needed?

Proficiency tests (comparison measurements) on the area of metrology are:

• a measure of validation of calibration procedures
• a need to maintain the own competence
• an important criterion for auditors in assessing this competence

Multilateral proficiency tests are mainly agreed in the technical committees of the DKD.
